Ha-Ha Walls

A friend of mine who works for Historic New England was telling me about this type of wall that is common in Old England. It’s a very simple design – a short wall with a ditch beside it to keep the cows out. The shorter wall doesn’t obstruct the view and the cows are kept at bay. I just had to include it in my blog because of this picture!
So cute!
